Overview
The forest park with an area of 23 hectares was opened in 1978. In this park you can enjoy a “forest bathing effect” to stimulate your senses through evaporated substances called "phytoncides", which are organic compounds derived from coniferous trees, while also enjoying singing birds and wildflowers that bloom during every season. The park features a camping ground, so you can have a barbecue not only in the summer, but all year round. The park also has a city museum where parents and their children can have fun learning about the history and culture of Minamiashigara.
Access Information
Take the train, bus, or Daiyuzan Line of the Izuhakone Railway to "Only-you Station". From there it is a 5-minute walk
By car: a 20-minute drive from the Oimatsuda IC (Tomei Expressway)
